$5,500,000 Million Dangerous Drug Award
A registered nurse, our client used the diet drug fen-phen to lose weight. Even someone in the medical field couldn’t predict the devastating effects this drug would have on her heart. Shortly after using the drug, the 56-year-old woman developed heart valve damage that led to primary pulmonary hypertension. A jury found in her favor awarding her $5.5 million for her pain and suffering.
